
River Kings Add WR D'Angelo Bowie

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - The Cedar Rapids River Kings have signed receiver D'Angelo Bowie to their 2019 IFL roster.
Bowie (5-11, 185, Western New Mexico) joins the River Kings for his rookie season as a member of the IFL after finishing his collegiate career as a Mustang where he was named to the NCAA II Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention team at wide receiver following his senior season.
In his final season at WNMU, Bowie set a new Lone Star Conference single-game reception record with 19 with a career-high 263 receiving yards against the University of San Diego in the season opener. He went on to be ranked first in the conference in receptions per game (7.6) and receiving yards per game (98.1) while also being ranked second in receiving touchdowns (10) and receiving yards (883).
Prior to attending Western New Mexico, Bowie attended Grossmont College in El Cajon, California where he caught 23 passes for 371 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014. He was also named to the All-Conference Team in 2013. D'Angelo is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia where he attended Landstown High School.
