CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - The Cedar Rapids River Kings have signed defensive back KJ Jenkins to their 2019 Indoor Football League roster.
The 5'10, 200-pound defensive back joins the River Kings for his rookie IFL season in 2019. During his collegiate career at Jacksonville University (FL) from 2013-16, the Dolphins recorded a 28-15 overall record while going 21-10 in the Pioneer Football League, which included two nine-win seasons in 2014 and 2015.
In his senior season, Jenkins recorded 37 total tackles (25 solo) with one sack, two tackles for loss and two interceptions in ten games. The former Dolphin joins the River Kings with 70 total career tackles in four years at Jacksonville. KJ is originally from Gainesville, Florida where he attended Buchholz High School.
