Chicago Slaughter News Release
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - Economy low, unemployment high, gas prices sky rocketing ¬Â¦with all of these issues at the forefront of everyone's mind, who really has time to think about travelling Gas prices have risen for 41 consecutive days, and with gas prices going up further many people are wondering how high it will be around spring break. Many parents with children have decided against traveling for spring break this year. Jon Zaley of Schaumburg tells us, "With gas prices soaring, my family is looking into places around town ¬Â¦ more of stay-cation, than a spring break this year."
One option as the weather jumps from cold to warm and back down again, people in the Chicagoland area look to Key Lime Cove, the indoor waterpark and resort in Gurnee. You can get the tropical feel for a quarter of the price you would pay to travel down to Florida. Key Lime Cove is Chicagoland's largest indoor waterpark featuring 12 waterslides, a giant wave pool, lazy river, and a giant interactive play structure. It is always 82 degrees inside Key Lime Cove, and weather is never a factor. Bonnie Saylor of Winfield says, "It has everything that the Wisconsin Dells has to offer, and to make it even better, it is right in our backyard." She continues, "Key Lime Cove has so much to offer, while the kids are playing in the water park, the adults can go get a relaxing spa treatment from the Paradise Mist Spa, without ever leaving the hotel." "We partnered with the Chicago Slaughter, says Dale McFarland, General Manager of Key Lime Cove, "to offer a Spring Break Family Vacation giveaway at their March 25th game. Someone's going to win a 2- night stay with full waterpark access and even a dinner for 4 as well."
Another option that offers affordable family fun during spring break with their March 25th game is the Chicago Slaughter. Tickets start as low as $8 and there is not a bad seat in the house. There is also a Family 4-Pack Deal which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 drinks, and 4 fries starting as low as $59 per ticket. To make this even better the Slaughter has a FREE Fun Zone for the kids to play in before and during the football game. There are also several giveaways and contests during the game for prizes such as, winning a car by playing the Rapid Fire Football Toss sponsored by Biggers Chevrolet; grabbing a Fist Full of Cash sponsored by State Farm of Carpentersville and Agent Thom Jareczek; winning a free meal sponsored by Bennigans; winning a one night stay sponsored by Holiday Inn of Elgin, and much more. It is the perfect amount of entertainment for the whole family.
