Riptide Training Camp Set To Begin On Saturday In Carson

CARSON, CALIFORNIA - Thursday, April 26, 2007 - The Los Angeles Riptide of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) are scheduled to open training camp for the 2007 season on Saturday, April 28 at the Home Depot Center.
The Riptide, led by head coach John Tucker, are scheduled to take the field for two practices on Saturday afternoon. The first practice will start at 12 Noon and the second practice will start at 4:30 p.m. Another practice session is also scheduled for Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m.
Camp sessions are open to members of the media and to the public.
The Riptide will open the 2007 season on the road at the Chicago Machine on May 19 at Toyota Park. The Riptide's home opener is scheduled for May 27 against the New Jersey Pride at 7:00 pm at The Home Depot Center.
