The New England Riptide is ready to give their fans something to cheer about as the 2006 season gets underway! Get your tickets now and be on hand to support the home team as they take on last year's regular season champs, the Chicago Bandits, on opening night, Thursday June 8 at 7:05pm.
We'd like to congratulate the Bandits' Jennie Finch and her husband, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Casey Daigle on the recent birth of their son, Ace Shane. Come see Jennie and the Chicago Bandits in the Riptide opening series, which continues on Friday June 9 (7:05pm), Saturday June 10 (8:05pm), and Sunday (3:05pm).
Tickets are on sale for June 8 and for all home games on the Riptide website www.neriptide.com, or by phone 866-474-7843. Tickets are also sold at the gate, subject to availability. Gates open 1 1/2 hours before game time.

Come See AMERICAN IDOL Finalist AYLA BROWN on July 5!
Special guest Ayla Brown, one of the American Idol finalists this season, will be joining us on Wednesday July 5. Ayla will be on hand to sign autographs before the game, and to sing the National Anthem. Don't miss it!

Maybe you'll see yourself on TV! Be in the crowd when five games this summer are shown on Fox Sports Net New England. TV game dates are:
Thursday June 29 vs. Akron Racers
Wednesday July 19 vs. China National Team
Thursday July 27 vs. Connecticut Brakettes
Thursday August 3 vs. Arizona Heat
Wednesday August 16 vs. Texas Thunder
Games will be televised on Fox Sports Net New England the Saturday following each game. Play-by-play announcer will be Jon Meterparel from WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Show.
