Riptide looking for interns

Portland, OR. The newly announced ABA Oregon Riptide is looking for interns to fill positions for the team that begins play in November. Internships are available in marketing, communications and sports administration. Applicants looking for an opportunity to lean the business of professional sports and have a passion for the game are encouraged to apply.

* An ABA retro basketball
* Opportunity to learn the craft of the business, hands on
* A letter of recommendation after completion of the program
* Paid position for the 2007-2008 season.
Qualified candidates from the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Western Oregon University, Linfield College, Willamette University, Southern Oregon University, Warner Pacific University, Portland State University, Lewis and Clark College, George Fox University and University of Portland and other area institutions are strongly encouraged to apply.
