May 30, 2008 Sterling, Va. - The New England Riptide and the Washington Glory met for the second time tonight. This time it was the Riptide that got the better of things as they evened the series with the Glory with a score of 6-2. The Riptide took a 3-0 lead in the top of the second, loading the bases with no out when Lyndsey Angus singled, Paez walked and Lisa Modglin singled. Shanel Scott, pinch running for Angus, scored the first run when Lisa Iancin grounded out to second. Then with two outs, runners at second and third, Martin hit her two RBI single. The Glory came back to score their two in the bottom of the inning. With Catalina Morris on first following a single, Stephanie Best homered to bring the score to 3-2.
