Arkansas RimRockers News Release
Little Rock, AR. (Tuesday, March 22, 2005)- Scotty Adams, director of promotions and events, announced the RimRockers will kick off the championship weekend with a pep rally beginning Friday, March 25 at the Rivermarket Pavilion. The meet and greet begins at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until 7:00 p.m. In addition to meeting the team and coaching staff, the dance team will be on hand to perform, there will be a live band and $1 beers will be served. This event is open to the public and all proceeds will benefit an Arkansas-based charity.
"We feel this is a fun and unique promotion for our fans," Adams said. "The RimRockers have lived up to their promise of providing a fun, fan-friendly atmosphere for Arkansas. This is a nice way to recognize their efforts while at the same time providing an opportunity for families to meet their favorite RimRocker basketball player or dance team member."
The Arkansas RimRockers, owned by Larry Crain Sr., play all home games at Alltel Arena. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased through the Alltel Arena Box Office by calling 501-975-9000.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
