Chicago Rush News Release

Lineman Riley Kleinhesselink became the latest free agent to remain with the Chicago Rush, signing a two-year contract through the 2006 season, the team announced today. Kleinhesselink joins fellow teammates Jamie McGourty and Jeremy McDaniel as AFL free agents who re-signed with the Rush this off-season.

Kleinhesselink (6-5, 270, Northwestern College) has spent his entire AFL career in Chicago, playing the 2001, 2003 and 2004 seasons with the Rush. In 33 career games he has recorded 33 tackles, five sacks and three forced fumbles.

"I'm glad to be back with the Rush," said Kleinhesselink. "It's the only AFL team I've played for, but I've seen enough to know that it is one of the best organizations in the league. We have a great group of players and coaches, and should be able to compete for the ArenaBowl this year."

The Rush kicks off its fifth anniversary season in January with the 2005 home opener set for noon on Sunday, February 6, against Jon Bon Jovi's Philadelphia Soul. Rush season tickets, beginning at just $64, currently are on sale. To reserve your tickets, or for more information about 2005 Rush season tickets, fans can call the Rush at (877) Rush-Tix (787-4849) or visit the team's Web site, www.chicagorush.com.
