
Rights to Taliek Brown Traded to Laval

(Halifax, NS) The Halifax Rainmen announced today that they have traded the rights to 6'1 guard Taliek Brown to the Laval Kebs in exchange for the Kebs first round draft pick in the 2013 NBL Canada Draft.
Brown, an NCAA champion while at UConn in 2004, averaged 12.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game in the National Basketball League of Canada last season for the Rainmen.
"We wish Taliek nothing but the best, he was a great player for us over the past two seasons," stated Halifax Rainmen President Andre Levingston. "We have some really great players coming into camp this season and simply decided it was time to go in another direction."
