Ribbee to Appear at East Intermediate School

(Jackson, TN) November 2nd- West Tenn Diamond Jaxx mascot Ribbee will be making an appearance at East Intermediate School, located on Ashport Rd. in Jackson, Thursday November 4th beginning at 5:15 p.m. Ribbee will be promoting the school's Book Fair, "Read, White and Blue" taking place now through November 5th.

The book fair is based on the presidential election. Earlier in the week, students participated in a mock presidential election, as well as an election for their favorite book. East Intermediate teachers are hoping this will get the children involved in reading more books as well as learning about the voting system in our country.

Ribbee will be appearing during Family Night at the school, in conjunction with parent-teacher conferences. Parents can purchase books for their children or purchase books from a wish list created by each teacher for their classroom.
