LOYOLA, MD - The Rochester Rhinos extended their winning streak to five games with their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace Baltimore on Wednesday night. The Rhinos received a stoppage time goal from Adam West to seal the game. Earlier in the second half the Rhinos took a 1-0 lead after Andrew Hoxie's shot was scored goal an own goal after deflecting in off defender Daniel Lader in the 78th minute.
Baltimore played much of the match attempting to close down Rochester's attack and forcing them outside, a strategy they used to push the season series to 1-1-1 entering the match.
Hoxie, who entered the match for Jamie Franks in the 72nd minute began the play that resulted in the game-winning goal. His hard driven cross found its way to the front of the net where it deflected in off the foot of Lader.
West later added his first goal of the season in the 90th minute to close out any hopes for Baltimore.
