Rochester Rhinos News Release

(Rochester, NY)... As a special thank you to the loyal supporters of the Rochester Rhinos, the team announced today that all season ticket holders, old and new, will receive tickets to the first two rounds of the playoffs at no extra charge.

The 18-game Full Season Ticket plan has been extended to 20 games for two main reasons. First, the tickets serve as a big thank you to all who have supported the Rhinos through the recent ups and downs. Second, the two playoff tickets serve as a reminder that the Rhinos have made the playoffs for 12 years straight and the team does not plan on changing that anytime soon.

"The climax of our season is the playoffs," said Soccer Sam, Rhinos VP of Marketing and Business Development. "They are both exciting and intense, and it is essential that all of our fans are there beside us.

Fans are invited to come to PAETEC Park between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on April 3rd to meet the team and purchase their season tickets. The Rhinos will be present to sign autographs, greet fans, and offer their thanks for the support. As added incentive, fans can expect to receive a special gift along with their 20-game season ticket package purchase.

The Rhinos begin their 13th season on Friday, May 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in Charleston, SC, as they take on the two-time USL-1 champion Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium. Rochester opens its 2008 home slate at PAETEC Park on Saturday, May 17th against Charleston at 7:35 p.m.
