
Rhinos Return Home Looking To Chop Down Timbers

ROCHESTER, NY - After a week off from league play, the Rochester Rhinos will return to action on Wednesday, August 4 when they host the Portland Timbers at Marina Auto Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
Rochester returns home after taking two out of three matches on the road last week. The club continues to hold the second place position in the USL Conference, just five points behind first-place Austin. The Timbers trail the Rhinos by six points with one game in hand over Rochester and they own the season series. The Rhinos lost the first and only meeting of the season between the two, 1-0 at PGE Park in Portland, OR.
Portland will arrive in Rochester with the league's top goal scorer and point-getter in Ryan Pore. Pore so far this season has tallied 11 goals and 24 points. Rochester's leading scorer is Anthony Hamilton who is tied with fellow forward Isaac Kissi with four goals but is first with nine points.
- Wednesday's match is the annual "Bark in the Park" night at Marina Auto Stadium. Fans can bring their dogs to the match with the purchase of a $7.00 ticket available at the Pace Windows and Doors Box Office located at Marina Auto Stadium or at ticketmaster.com. The Rhinos will return to action on Wednesday, August 11 when the travel to take on the Carolina RailHawks at WakeMed Stadium in Cary, North Carolina. Kickoff for that match is slated for 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday's match and all matches, both home and away can be heard on the Rhinos flagship station Sports Radio ESPN 950 (AM). Play-by-play broadcaster Joe Giuliano and color analyst Mike Kirmse call of the action.
