Rochester Rhinos News Release
Rochester, NY -- The Rochester Rhinos are pleased to announce its first open tryout for the 2015 season. Tryouts will be held at Total Sports Experience (TSE) in Rochester on January 6th, 2015 and it will cost $75.00. Total Sports Experience is a terrific indoor facility located here in Rochester with 40 acres of outdoor fields. There is a beautiful 50yd x 80yd field where our training will take place but TSE also boast two, 85'x185', boarded fields as well as two multi-purpose training areas.
The Rochester Rhinos are the most successful soccer club in the United States and Canada outside of Major League Soccer and were founded in 1996. With a rich history of trophies and consistent play, the Rhinos are looking to build off of their 2014 season during which Manager Bob Lilley brought together an almost entirely new group of players, 20 out of 25 were new, and finished the season with a 10-10-8 record and nearly knocked off the LA Galaxy II in the playoffs. The 2014 squad had notable victories over the LA Galaxy II, Chicago Fire Reserves, FC Dallas Reserves, a previously undefeated Orlando City, and D.C. United (U.S. Open Cup).
The tryout will be on January 6th at Total Sports Experience. There will be two sessions taking place at TSE on January 6th. The first session is 8-11am and the second session is 1-3pm; players are asked to arrive at 7:30am for registration. Your participation in the trial is the best way to showcase your complete soccer resume as you will be professionally evaluated by the Rhinos coaching staff led by Manager Bob Lilley. There will be a trainer available to the players 45 minutes before and after each session.
To sign up for the tryout fill out the form provided. There is limited space available.
