Rhinos Ball, Menyongar Earn League Honors

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Rhinos defender John Ball and forward Johnny Menyongar were each selected to the USL Team of the Week this week for their performances against Montreal and Charleston last week.

Ball, a veteran defender who leads the club in assists with four helped the Rhino defense shut down the Impact at Marina Auto Stadium last Wednesday night. It is the third time this season that Ball has been honored with a Team of the Week selection.

Menyongar, meanwhile, receives his fourth nod for the Team of the Week marking the most any Rhino player has been noticed this season. Menyongar notched his team-leading sixth goal of the season against Charleston on Saturday night. For the season the Liberia native ranks third among USL scorers with six goals and 13 points.

The Rhinos will resume USL play on Saturday, July 25 when they return to Marina Auto Stadium to face the Cleveland City Stars at 7:35 p.m. The

two sides have met twice in league play this season, with each team winning 3-0 results in Cleveland. The Stars also lost 2-1 to the Rhinos in

Rochester in the second leg of U.S. Open Cup play.
