Rhinos announce Joma as Official Apparel Sponsor

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Raging Rhinos have announced that Joma will be the Official Apparel Sponsor for the team during the upcoming 2005 season. The Raging Rhinos will be the first team in the United States that Joma will sponsor.

Joma is recognized as one of the top names in sportswear in Spain. Joma sponsors many of the top teams in the Spanish Primera Liga, including F.C. Deportivo de la Coruna and Sevilla F.C. Many of the Primera Liga's top players endorse Joma, including Alfonso (Real Betis), Gabri (Barcelona), Helguera (Real Madrid), Naybet (Tottenham) and Potillo (A.C. Fiorentina). Joma also is the official supplier for the Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica National Teams. In the English Premiership, Joma is worn by Charlton Athletic F.C.

Founded in 1965 by Mr. Fructuso Lopez, Joma has a distribution network with more than 28 countries and international subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, Mexico and the United States. Both Joma and officially licensed Joma Rhinos apparel will be available at the Rhinos team store and Euro Tech Soccer Store, located at The Sports Garden during the season.

The Rhinos will open the 2005 regular season on Saturday, April 30th with a road game against the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Rhinos will welcome the Puerto Rico Islanders to Rochester on Saturday, May 7th to open the home end of the schedule.
