Rhinos 2011 League Schedule Released

(Rochester, NY). United Soccer Leagues announced the release of the 2011 USL PRO schedule as well as the divisional alignment of the league today. The Rhinos schedule features a 24 game regular season slate beginning on April 15th and concluding on August 13th.

The Rhinos 2011 season will kick-off on Friday, April 15th at the Richmond Kickers, the first of four straight road games to start the season. The club will also travel to face the Wilmington Hammerheads, Dayton Dutch Lions and Harrisburg City Islanders before making their home debut against the league-champion Charleston Battery at Marina Auto Stadium on Saturday, May 7th.

The 12-game home portion of the schedule features six matches to be played on Friday night, five Saturday evening matches and one Sunday evening start. Home matches on Friday, July 8th against FC New York and Friday, July 22nd against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds will kick-off at 8:00 p.m. and be televised nationally. Eight of the final 12 games will be played at home this season.

The club will play eight of their first 12 matches on the road this season. The road schedule consists of five Saturday match-ups, four on Friday and one each on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The league will feature three, five-team divisions in 2011, The American, National and International Divisions. The Rhinos will play in the National Division along with the Dayton, Harrisburg, FC New York and Pittsburgh.
