RGV FC Announces 2020 Preseason Schedule

EDINBURG, Texas - Rio Grande Valley FC will open their preseason training on Monday, Jan. 27 at H-E-B Park and announced its preseason schedule. The Toros will play a total of five matches during the preseason as they build up to their USL Championship home opener on Sunday, March 8 when they host LA Galaxy II.
The Toros will open their preseason with a matchup against Houston Baptist University at 1 p.m. CST, on Sunday, Feb. 2 at H-E-B Park. Then, RGV FC will host its MLS partner the Houston Dynamo at 7 p.m. CST on Saturday, Feb. 8 at H-E-B Park. This event is free and open to the public.
RGV FC will then play three matches on the road. The squad will head to the Circuit of the Americas to face Texas Copa rival Austin Bold FC at 6 p.m. CST on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Toros will go up to Houston to play against Southern Methodist University on Saturday, Feb.22 at 1 p.m. CST at Houston Sports Park. They will conclude their preseason schedule with a matchup against longtime rival, San Antonio FC, at 1 p.m. CST on Friday, Feb. 28 at Star Soccer Complex.
This is the fourth year of the hybrid relationship between the Dynamo and RGV FC, which has quickly been emulated by multiple MLS clubs over the past year. The Dynamo control all aspects of soccer operations - including employment of the technical staff and player selection - while RGV FC manages the business side of the club.
