Revs Return Home Saturday to Make Playoff Push
May 14, 2015 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF)
Texas Revolution News Release
The Revolution come into this week's matchup with a 2-1 series lead over the Bandits. With a 5-4 record the Revs should stay undefeated at home this season and are in the hunt for a home playoff spot. Hanging 83 points on San Angelo in their last meeting, Texas should fire on all cylinders tonight coming off a bye week. With the bye, Texas has signed former Patriot Iron Man Taylor McCuller who should make his Revs debut Saturday night.
Watch for the Revs to get the ground game working on the fresh legs of Darius Fudge and brushing running game of Jordan Brown. Also, with a finally healthy receiving corps Brett Reese should return to form and continue his CIF leading season after missing the past 3 games.
The playoff picture is very much in the hands of Texas. It's very simple, win and your in. If the Revs win out, they will without a doubt have the franchise's first playoff push. In the words of Coach Wyman, "It's a 5 game season, we win these next 5, we go home with a ring."
