New England Revolution News Release
The Revs beat their affiliates, the Boston Rams, 2-1, on Tuesday in an exhibition game in New Britain, Conn. Held to raise funds for the Newtown Parent Connection following the December shooting, A.J. Soares and Dimitry Imbongo both scored in this all-around effort. Matt Straub of the New Britain Herald recaps the game and talked game plans with Soares and Jay Heaps.
ESPNFC ranks MLS from the best to the worst in week 16 of league play. The Revs are ranked somewhere in the middle and despite Andrew Farrell's red card, the Revs were still able to score three goals against Vancouver. The young talent on the team has made the Revolution an enjoyable team to watch.
The USMNT cruised to a 1-0 win over Honduras on Tuesday, with Jozy Altidore scoring the only goal as his hot streak continues. Ives Galarcep of Soccer By Ives reviews the game, while Steve Davis of NBC Sports ProSoccerTalk highlights what we should learn from the U.S. qualifier win.
