Though New England trails Columbus in the all-time regular-season series, 11-20-5, the Revs have not lost to the Crew since June 6, 2004, a six-match streak including the two game 2004 Eastern Conference Semifinal series between the clubs. That night the Revolution will host Military Appreciation Night and in recognition of their service, all U.S. Armed Forces personnel will receive a free ticket to the game. In 1996, six of the 15 victories were won in shootouts, and in 1997 four of the 15 wins came during shootouts. The Revs' recorded an 11-game unbeaten streak as well as a six-game winning streak earlier this season which also set club records.
