Kentucky Retros News Release

Murray, KY. The ABA Kentucky Retros will be hosting player tryouts on Saturday, March 31st from 830am-5pm in Paducah, Kentucky at the Jetton Gymnasium Complex on Jetton Blvd. The cost is $150.00 in advance or at the door. Please bring cash or money orders only and contact with owner Steve Van Waes or head coach Kevin Waters to reserve your spot. In attendance will be NBA scouts looking at the talent pool based in Kentucky and other states. This is your chance to get noticed even if you're a high school basketball player for future consideration.

"Our staff has been approached several times concerning tryouts and the excitement level is so high with fans our management decided to get one step ahead by offering this first tryout in March," stated Van Waes.

"We are bringing basketball excitement to our fans which is so entertaining fans won't want the game to end," stated Coach Waters. "I remember my first game. Now fans will experience what I did the first time like great baby boom music, different aged cheer leading squads (yes, even you mom), a dance team, 2 mascots, and several games for the fans to participate during timeouts and media timeouts. This game is the best family entertainment especially for sports fans."

If you have questions, need directions, a registration form, call 270 293 2556 or 404 729 6655 or email svanwaes@charter.net or coachkwaters@yahoo.com. Guests and fans are welcome. And look for the new Retros website, www.kyretros.com coming on April 1st or visit www.abalive.com.
