Trying To Keep Hot: The Orlando Seals who have won two of their last three games, scoring eight goals in each of those victories have three road games this week. They visit Macon on Thursday at 7:35 p.m.; travel to Jacksonville on Friday; and will travel to Alabama on Saturday for an 8:05 eastern time start. All Seals games are available on the internet at www.IRN.FM. The Seals next home game is Thursday March 25 against the Manatees at 7:05 p.m.
Week In Review: The Seals saw their season high losing streak reach eight games in
a 3-2 loss to Lakeland. They ended the streak in a big way with the highest output of the season, in an 8-5 win rematch win over Lakeland. The Seals then suffered a third period letdown in a 5-1 loss at Alabama. The Seals rebounded with a seven goal outburst and tallied eight goals for the second time in the week by defeating the Manatees, 8-4.
Respecting Elders: Jason Elders had a hat trick in the win over Lakeland, taking over the team lead in that category as it was his second hat trick of the season. In fact it was his second hat trick in less than a week as he also had three goals on March 5th in Jacksonville.
Luck Of The Irish: With the Seals wearing their Renal Dynamic St. Patrick's jersey's, Seamus Galligan, and Mike Sanderson each had two goal games.
No. 2 And Trying B. J. Stephens picked up seven points on two goals and five assists, moving him into second place in the league scoring race. Stephens now has 31 goals and 41 assists for 72 points.
