Penticton Vees News Release

PENTICTON, BC - The Penticton Vees are calling on the community to help Rescue Fred!

On Friday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m., Head Coach Fred Harbinson will be placed on a floatie in the middle of Okanagan Lake and he won't be "rescued" until 40 Season Tickets have been sold.

This fun community event has a great cause behind it. For every Season Ticket purchased, the Penticton Vees will donate $100 to the South Okanagan Similkameen SPCA, helping support animals in need throughout the community.

As an added bonus, everyone who purchases a Season Ticket during the Rescue Fred campaign will be entered into a draw to win the floatie that Fred is floating on.
