Reno Rockers to Hold Free Agent Tryout Camp

Pro Skills Sports Academy heads up the Reno Rockers' Free Agent Tryout Camp to be held July 9 â 10, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. This is the last free agent camp for the Rockers before the August Invitational Only camp to be held in Reno, Nevada.
Interested players should contact Pro Skills Sports Academy at RockersTryout@yahoo.com for additional information. Until June 18th, the registration fee is $100. Players attending the camp will receive personal attention by the Rockers' coaching staff, ABA and NBA scouts. The 2-day camp will be intense for the players who will go through drills, one-on-one, team play exhibitions, and interviews
Rockers' Head Coach and General Manager â Player Development, Spencer Haywood says, "We plan on winning it all [ABA Championship]. We'll bring in the right players to produce high-quality exciting ball." With the exciting ABA game format, Rockers' players must be athletic, have the right attitude, and be in excellent running shape because the ABA game rules are about "speeding up the game and pressing from end to end â unlike the NBA players who walk the ball up the court and pickup the game at half court. We have a full court game."
