Reno Knocks-Off Tulsa, 102-87

RENO, Nevada - The Reno Bighorns never trailed Saturday night, halting a two-game losing streak with a 102-87 wire-to-wire victory over the Tulsa 66ers in the Reno Events Center.

The Bighorns (5-5) jumped out to an early advantage and never turned back, defeating the 66ers (6-6) in the first of two-straight games between the two squads.

Reno's Desmon Farmer led all scorers with 24 points, registering 15 of those in the first quarter. Russell Robinson scored 20 points, while Mo Charlo chipped-in a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

D.J. White, assigned to the 66ers from the Oklahoma City Thunder just prior to Saturday's game, led Tulsa with 19 points and nine rebounds. Mustafa Shakur hit 8-of-11 shots from the field for 17 points in addition to five assists.

The Bighorns outrebounded Tulsa by a 42-28 margin, and Reno nearly doubled the 66ers' points in the paint.

The Bighorns and 66ers will hook-up again on Sunday afternoon from the Reno Events Center. Tip-time is set for 3 p.m., and all hot dogs will be available for just $1.
