
Reno Bighorns to Hold National Anthem Auditions this Friday

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Bighorns will hold national anthem auditions Friday at the Reno Events Center beginning at 5 p.m., which will be free and open to the public.
The auditions are open to anyone who aspires to sing the National Anthem before a Bighorns game this season. During the 2010-11 season, the Bighorns play 24 home games at the Reno Event Center, and look to feature a local singer at each game.
Registration for the auditions will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday. All prospective singers will be guaranteed a chance to sing, providing they arrive at the Reno Events Center before 6 p.m. Singers are asked to enter the Reno Events Center at the Portal B entrance, which is at the corner of 4th and Center Streets in downtown Reno.

The Bighorns begin their third season on Saturday, Nov. 20, at home against the Utah Flash. The game is expected to sell out, so fans are encouraged to get their tickets in advance.
