Matt Bersano and Brent Richards are the only 1868 FC players to start all four playoff matches in club history.

Outside back Brent Richards will be the captain tonight for the 10th time in the last 11 matches. Richard's season total of 10 matches as the captain are the second most on the team, trailing Zach Carrol's 22. Midfielder Seth Casiple is the only other player to have served as captain, wearing the armband in two matches.

Reno 1868 FC features several players with postseason success, as Emrah Klimenta, Dominic Jakubek and Chris Malenab all won the USL Championship title with Sacramento in 2014. Zach Carroll won with New York Red Bull's II in 2016, and head coach Ian Russell won a pair of MLS Cups as a player with San Jose in 2001 and 2003.
