EL PASO, Texas. - It was an unlucky night in El Paso for Reno 1868 FC. The club fell 1-0 to El Paso Locomotive at Southwest University Park.

Reno saw chances early in the match, in the 6th minute Will Seemore rocketed a shot that challenged Locomotive's goalkeeper, Ketterer, but was saved.

The two teams were tied 0-0 at halftime, and the second half proved to be the difference. Reno earned a free kick in the 64th minute that was nearly finished by Brian Brown, but bounced off the crossbar. A foul on Zach Carroll inside the box in the 76th minute gave El Paso a penalty kick that was finished by Sebastian Contreras and put El Paso ahead.

Reno saw more chances towards the end of the match, but couldn't find the back of the net to get the point on the road. The club had 14 total shots when the final whistle blew. Goalkeeper Matt Bersano also had three big saves for the club which prevented El Paso from increasing their lead.
