Reno 1868 FC Adds Two Goalkeepers

RENO, NEV. - Reno 1868 FC has signed goalkeepers Dominik Jakubek and Sean Bieker pending league and federation approval, the club announced Friday.
Jukubek joins the club after playing for Sacramento Republic FC from 2014-2016, making 47 total appearances for the club in USL Championship play. He is expected to help teach the younger goalkeepers on the team and act as a mentor.
"Dominik has been a keeper in this league for a long time and he's going to work with our younger keepers a lot and really mentor them," Head Coach Ian Russell said Friday.
Bieker is a Reno native who graduated from Bishop Manogue High School and went on to play at Colorado Mesa and then Cal State Fullerton. The goalkeeper has spent time with Reno 1868 FC in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Reno 1868 FC hits the road this weekend to take on Sacramento Republic FC in the Donner Pass Derby. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
