Ottawa Renegades News Release

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Renegades football club continued to strengthen its ties with the community, and one of its important corporate partners, Wednesday when the team was present for the opening of the new RONA store in Gatineau.

Renegades players, two of Ottawa's Molson Canadian Light dance team performers and members of the club's community relations and marketing team were present for the unveiling of the latest RONA to open in the region. Offensive lineman Val St. Germain, linebacker Jason Kralt and receiver Darryl Ray – all Ottawa products – were on hand for the festivities. Representing the Dance team were Sylvianne and Natasha.

"RONA has been with us since day one and we are happy and proud to work together for this partnership," said Renegades president Brad Watters. "We are also pleased to announce we have come to an agreement on a two-year sponsorship extension with RONA, which is another significant step in the right direction."

The new RONA location is located on 165 Boulevard de Plateau in Gatineau.
