Richmond Renegades News Release
The Richmond Renegades today announced they signed defenseman T.J. Manastersky to a 5 game tryout. His first game will be tonight against the Pee Dee Cyclones in Florence, SC. Manastersky was the final cut at the Renegades training camp.
Manastersky, who hails from Oakville, Ontario, played his college hockey with the NCAA Oswego Lakers in upstate New York. In his final season he appeared in 21 games with 0 goals and 7 assists.
Manastersky, who played his junior hockey with Georgetown of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) is 5' 11' and weighs in at 195. He shoots left.
"We are very fortunate that TJ was still available," stated Coach John Brophy. "Letting TJ go after training camp was an extremely difficult decision but we were only allowed to keep 18. He is a welcome addition to our defense because he hits hard and plays harder."
