Ottawa Renegades News Release
The Ottawa Renegades have teamed up with NCAFA, (The National Capital Amateur Football Association) to strengthen the sport of football at both the grass roots and professional level starting in the 2006 season.
Under the program NCAFA will be directly involved in selling 2006 season tickets for the Renegades, and for this they will receive a 10% commission from the football club.
"The goal is to raise $100,000. for minor football through the sale of 1200 season tickets," stated Club President Lonie Glieberman.
"This is a great win-win proposition for NCAFA and the Renegades."
"We feel that with an army of dedicated volunteers throughout the region they can definitely expand our season ticket base and in so doing we will be able to funnel significant funds back to minor football," added Glieberman.
Steve Dean, the President of NCAFA said, "We are thrilled to have this opportunity, not only will we be raising major funds for the organization but also with being involved with such a high profile venture as the Renegades we think it will be invaluable in promoting our teams and programs."
Mr. Dean went on to add that fans who want to purchase their Renegade season tickets through NCAFA can log on to their web site at http://www.ncafa.ca and download an order form or deal directly with a NCAFA team member or volunteer.
"We really want to build an expanded partnership to promote football at all levels in the region," stated Lonie Glieberman.
