
Reign Signs Center Brett O'Malley

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings announced today that they have signed rookie center Brett O'Malley to a standard player contract for the 2010 - 2011 season.
O'Malley, 26, spent the last five seasons with the University of Calgary (CWUAA) 104 points (58g, 46a) and 210 penalty minutes in 149 games with the Dinos. The center, who hails from Settler, Alberta, started his hockey career in the 2000 - 2001 season with the Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL). O'Malley spent five seasons in the WHL, also appearing with the Calgary Hitmen for two seasons from 2003 - 2005.
