Cleveland, OH - The Ontario Reign (7-5) fell to the Lake Erie Monsters (10-2) 4-0 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals Tuesday evening at Quicken Loans Arena. The Reign trail the best-of-seven series, 3-0.

The Reign earned several scoring chances in the opening moments, but the Monsters retaliated with three goals in 4:27 for a 3-0 lead going into the third period. Forward Oliver Bjorkstrand opened the scoring at 6:00 with a backhanded shot past Reign netminder Peter Budaj (L, 17 saves on 21 shots). Moments later, forward Sonny Milano redirected in a shot from the blue line past Budaj (7:50) and forward Josh Anderson capped the scoring burst with a breakaway goal at 10:27.

In the second period, the Monsters added another tally off the stick off of Markus Hannikainen at 16:31.

Monsters goaltender Anton Forsberg completed the shutout with six saves in the third period and finished the game with 26 stops. Michael Houser started the third period in relief of Budaj and made six saves on six shots.
