
RedHawks Sign Opsahl

FARGO, ND - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have signed LHP Ethan Opsahl to a contract and will have him in uniform tonight as the team opens a three-game series with the St. Paul Saints at Newman Outdoor Field. Opsahl is a native of Twin Valley, MN.
Opsahl, 22, was the Great Plains Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year this spring at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. He was 9-4 with a 3.43 ERA in 16 games (12 starts) with seven complete games. Opsahl pitched 84.0 innings and allowed 40 runs (32 earned) on 70 hits. He struck out 94 batters and walked just 18.
The RedHawks now have 22 players on their active roster, including 12 pitchers.
