RedHawks Set Opening Round Playoff Schedule

FARGO, N.D. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks now know where they will open defense of their Northern League Championship. The only question left is who will they play.
The RedHawks will host Games 1 & 2 of the first round of the 2010 Northern League Playoffs on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 7:02 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 9 at 2:00 p.m. against an opponent to be determined. Tickets for Games 1 & 2 will go on sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2 at the RedHawks Ticket Office at Newman Outdoor Field. Fans can also call in ticket orders starting at 10:00 a.m. to 701-235-6161 or order online starting tonight at www.fmredhawks.com .
By virtue of the RedHawks 6-3 victory over Joliet tonight, the RedHawks can finish with no worse than the second seed in the playoffs. By claiming a top seed, Fargo-Moorhead had the choice of hosting Games 1 & 2 or Games 3, 4 (if necessary) & 5 (if necessary), and chose to open the post-season at home.
Tickets for Games 1 & 2 will go on sale starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2 at the RedHawks Ticket Office at Newman Outdoor Field. Fans can also call in ticket orders starting at 10:00 a.m. to 701-235-6161 or order online starting tonight at www.fmredhawks.com .
All tickets for all RedHawks home playoff games will be $5 in advance and $7 on the day of game.
The schedule for the second round of the playoffs will be announced at a later date and is dependent on the RedHawks final seeding at the end of the regular season.
