RedHawks Complete Sweep with Seventeen Runs

OCONOMOWOC, WI. - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks completed the sweep against the Lake Country DockHounds with a 17-10 victory in Oconomowoc Thursday evening.
Evan Alexander kicked off the top of the second inning with a home run. Sam Dexter and Manny Boscan each drove in a run with a single to make the score 3-0.
In the next half inning, WIlfredo Gimenez knocked in two runs with a 2-RBI double. Lamar Briggs would drive in Gimenez to even the score at three runs.
The runs kept coming from the RedHawks as they put up two runs in the third and six in the fourth to put F-M up 11-3.
John Silviano knocked a ground-rule double to bring Drew Ward across the plate. In the fifth, Daikan Yoh entered as a pinch hitter and made an immediate impact with an RBI double.
Boscan had his way with the DockHounds in the sixth as he smoked a ball over the wall for two runs. Briggs doubled to bring in Manny Blanco to make the score 14-5 after six innings.
Ward blasted a three-run home run in the eighth inning, but DockHound Daniel Molinari would answer with his own two-run homer.
Lake Country would put up three runs in the bottom of the ninth to finish the game. The fInal score was 17-10, with the RedHawks completing the sweep.
