
Redblacks Sign Receiver Travon Patterson

OTTAWA - Travon Patterson, a speedy wide receiver from California, has signed with the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the Canadian Football League.
The 25-year-old from Long Beach, Calif., has been on CFL rosters with Montreal and B.C.
Patterson (5-9, 170) began his collegiate football career with the University of Southern California Trojans in 2006 and played four years at USC. In addition to football, Patterson competed for the USC track team in 2008, running the leadoff leg for the school's 400-metre relay team.
He transferred to the University of Colorado for his senior season in 2010, catching 20 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown
With the Buffaloes, Patterson caught 20 passes for 127 yards and one touchdown in eight games.
