GAME NOTES:

-TURNING POINT: The Red Wings recorded three hits with runners in scoring position in the 6th inning - matching their total from both games of Saturday's twin bill - as they scored 5 times on RBI hits from Nate Hanson, Eric Farris and Joe Benson erasing a 1-0 deficit... KEY MOMENT: With the bases loaded and a run already in, Luis Perdomo induced Ryan Rohlinger to ground into a game-ending double play to earn his 4th save of the season.

-With the win, the Wings snapped their season-long 3-game home losing streak and also snapped a 3-game overall losing skid... They avoided their first series loss since dropping 3 of 4 to SWB 4/15-18. A win on Monday night will earn them a split of the 4-game set -- it would be the 4th series split in a row for Rochester.

-Eric Farris extended his hitting streak to a season-long 6 games with a single in the 5th inning and finished the day 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI... Over the streak he is hitting 8-for-22 (.364) with a triple, 3 runs and 2 RBI.

-P.J. Walters turned in yet another "quality start" on Sunday is 5th in a row and the team's 11th in the last 16 games... After going 0-2, 6.46 ERA in his first 3 GS of the season, Walters is now 4-0 with a 1.97 ERA over his last 5 starts...The rotation's starting ERA over the last 16 games dipped to 2.69 (29 ER/97.0 IP)... The Wings are now 6-2 in starts made by Walters this season and just 9-20 in games started by everybody else.

-Chris Colabello continues to rake against Clippers pitching picking up two more hits on Sunday. In 7 games against Columbus this season, Colabello is hitting .500 (13-for-26) with 6 extra-base hits (5 doubles, 1 home run).
