
Red Bulls Welcome Seattle Sounders FC at Red Bull Arena Tomorrow

HARRISON, NJ (September 19, 2014) - The New York Red Bulls look to extend its current unbeaten streak to four games when they welcome Seattle Sounders FC, the Western Conference leaders, to Red Bull Arena tomorrow night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM ET with NBC Sports Network showing the game nationally.
New York is coming off a 1-0 midweek loss at Montreal in CONCACAF Champions League group play, but is unbeaten in its last three regular-season contests. The Red Bulls are 2-0-1 in the current stretch and earned a 2-2 tie at Philadelphia on September 13. New York enters the weekend in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and in a playoff spot with 38 points and a 9-8-11 record.
Seattle enters Saturday's match on a five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1), including four straight wins. Sounders FC (17-7-3, 54 pts.) took home the 2014 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday at PPL Park against the Philadelphia Union.
Saturday marks the only regular-season meeting between New York and Seattle in 2014. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw at CenturyLink Field on September 29, 2013 in the last meeting.

Fans attending the New York Red Bulls-Seattle Sounders FC match on Saturday at Red Bull Arena (actual kickoff: 7:31 PM) are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early due to the expected sellout crowd.
The club will host a special presentation and the club's supporters groups will be unveiling a tifo prior to kickoff. Fans are encourage to arrive early and be in their seats by 7:15 PM. Gates to the general public open at 6:00 PM.
