Toronto FC will host the third annual Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Day at this Sunday's match against Chivas USA, which kicks off at 3:00 p.m., at BMO Field.

Close to 400 members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families will be in attendance through donations from Toronto FC season seat holders, players, and front office staff. The entire Toronto FC First Team will wear custom kits featuring Canadian Military camo inside the numbers of their jersey.

"On behalf of everyone at Toronto FC, we are very proud and honoured to host members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families at our match this Sunday," said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. "Our season seat holders, players, and front office staff have generously donated tickets to ensure members of the Canadian Armed Forces can enjoy the match with their family as we honour their endless commitments to this great country. We thank them for everything they have given and continue to today, and look forward to the festivities on Sunday."

Throughout the day members of the Canadian Armed Forces will be honoured and recognized in a variety of ways, beginning with the distribution of over 7,000 "Support Our Troops" wristbands to fans upon entry to the stadium. The match will begin with a special opening ceremony featuring numerous members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Navy Flag Party from HMCS York. During halftime, a special presentation will take place from The SkyHawks: Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team (weather permitting).

Game worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the match in the North concourse with proceeds being split between the Solider On Fund and the MLSE Foundation.
