Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

In the last meeting on July 8, New York and Philadelphia each took a point in a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena. Forward Patryk Klimala scored his first career penalty kick for New York and has since converted two more attempts against CF Montreal on August 14 and NYCFC on September 22. Philadelphia is currently on a two-match winning streak, which includes wins over Orlando City SC (3-1) and Atlanta United (1-0). The Union have not won a match on the road since May 23, 2021.
Midfielder Omir Fernandez has made four starts in a row, with his first of the season coming on September 14 against Columbus Crew. Since that match, Fernandez has created nine chances, which ranks fourth in MLS during that span. In his last three matches, he has scored two goals, which includes the game-winning goal against NYCFC on September 25.
The Red Bulls have only allowed nine goals in their last 10 matches and have posted four clean sheets during that time. Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel earned his eighth shutout of the season in New York's last match and currently ranks fourth in MLS. Coronel moved into sole possession of seventh place in franchise history in clean sheets and is only one more clean sheet away from tying Jonny Walker for sixth place.
Following Wednesday's match, New York travels to Nippert Stadium for the first time since May 25, 2019, to face FC Cincinnati on Saturday, October 2. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
