New York Red Bulls News Release
The New York Red Bulls (1-1-2, 5 pts.) head on a two-match road trip, starting with Charlotte FC (1-0-3, 3 pts.) on Saturday, March 25 at Bank of America Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Eric Krakauer will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Lloyd Sam on the English side, while Sergio Ruiz will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Miguel Gallardo on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
This will be the third regular season meeting between New York and Charlotte FC and the series is currently tied at a 1-1-0 mark. The Red Bulls won the last meeting between the two clubs on October 9, 2022, at Red Bull Arena, which was a 2-0 win. Forward Elias Manoel scored his first career MLS goal and added a second for his brace. The win qualified New York for their 13th consecutive postseason berth, which is the longest active streak in MLS and is tied for the longest streak in league history. The Red Bulls and Charlotte FC are both coming off their first wins of the season.
The Red Bulls have only allowed six shots on target through the first four matches of the season, which is the lowest amount to start a season by a team since the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2010. New York have allowed three goals in four matches, which is tied for the fifth lowest in MLS.
Forward Dante Vanzeir scored his first career MLS goal in New York's 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew on Saturday. Vanzeir has made three appearances this year for New York and his goal was the game-winner in the match.
Following Saturday's match, New York finish their road trip with a matchup against Atlanta United FC on Saturday, April 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via Tune In, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
