LINCOLN, Ca. - The Rogues set a new franchise record with 23 runs scored and 21 base hits to defeat the Potters in Game Two.
Tommy Ahlstrom led the way with six consecutive extra base hits (a franchise record), including a two-run home run in the fifth and the franchise record-breaking hit, a solo home run in the 9th.
Medford native Cole Carder (Antelope Valley) extended his hitting streak to 11 consecutive games with a two RBI single in the second inning to score catcher James Bell (University of Oregon, 2019) and left fielder Brandon Bena (Iowa Western).
Medford native and 2017 Great West League Champion Ryan Carle (Pacific University) got his first at-bat as a Medford Rogue. He grounded to second base to score Daniel Nist.
The Rogues will finish three game series against the Potters on Wednesday. They will then return home on Friday, June 29th to kick-off another jam-packed weekend against the Chico Heat. The first 500 fans in attendance to Friday's home game will receive a FREE Rowdy Championship Bobblehead, presented by Rogue Credit Union. Get your tickets to Friday's double-header HERE.

Friday, June 29th will also be a double-header to make up for the rain out on June 17th. The purchase of one Friday ticket is good for both games. Saturday, June 30th is Military Appreciation Night at Harry & David Field. Service members who show their valid military I.D. will get in for FREE! Your Rogues will be wearing special Military-themed jerseys which will be put up for auction during the game. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will benefit Rogue Valley Veterans Community Outreach.
There will also be a special pre-game ceremony, including a fly-over during the singing of our nation's anthem.
