MEDFORD, Ore. - The Rogues had the tying run just 90 feet from home but couldn't complete the comeback against the Chico Heat on Star Wars night, as they fall by a score of 4-3.
Tomorrow night is the rubber match between the two teams and will feature a marquee Sunday pitching matchup, as Rogues ace, Tyler Burch will face off against Chico's ace, Justin Sterner.
A crowd of 1,373 was on hand for a high-intensity baseball game and post-game fireworks show.
Tommy Ahlstrom went 4-4 with two RBI for the Rogues.
Tomorrow night is Superhero Night and Father's Day at Harry & David Field. The Rogues are opening up the Field tomorrow at 10am and inviting fathers to bring their kids for a game of whiffle ball with Rogues players! Every father who attends the whiffle ball game will receive a FREE ticket to Superhero night.
You don't want to miss this because Black Panther, Spiderman, Superman and other superheroes will be walking around the ballpark that night and taking photos with your kids!
