Real Salt Lake Owner David W. Checketts to Appear on ESPN'S "Cold Pizza"

SALT LAKE CITY (Wednesday, December 6th, 2006) Real Salt Lake is pleased to announce that RSL Owner David W. Checketts will be appearing on ESPN'S nationally syndicated program, "Cold Pizza" tomorrow, Thursday, December 6th at approximately 9:30 AM MST.

Checketts will be discussing the landmark front jersey sponsorship agreement reached last month between RSL and XanGo, the first agreement of its kind in all of sports in the United States. As part of the four year, multimillion dollar agreement, XanGo's logo will be adorned on the front of RSL'S adidas/MLS game jerseys beginning in the 2007 season.

Real Salt Lake became the first MLS team to secure a front jersey sponsorship after reaching the agreement with XanGo last month. MLS announced the initiative allowing teams to pursue such agreements, following the European soccer model, during the league's all-star break in early August.

"Cold Pizza" airs on ESPN2 from 8:00 - 10:00 MST.
