
Real Salt Lake Continues Eastern Swing

SANDY, Utah (Sunday, August 7, 2011) - After its Saturday return to the comforts of Rio Tinto Stadium yielded the full three points against New York, Real Salt Lake (10-5-6, 36 pts.; 5th in West) will now have to get used to the ways of the road for the rest of August, beginning with its visit this Saturday, Aug. 13 to BMO Field to face Toronto FC (3-11-11, 20 pts.; 8th in East). Kickoff from the shores of Lake Ontario is set for 5:00 p.m. MT and can be seen live on KMYU 2.2 (Comcast 22 / Dish Network 12). In addition, RSL fans are invited to gather at any one of the five 'Bout Time Pub & Grub locales across the Salt Lake valley to take in the match at the Official RSL Watch Parties, which will be in full swing for the 5:00 p.m. kick from Ontario. The match against the Reds will mark Real Salt Lake's fourth of five straight against Eastern Conference opposition and will start off a road trip that will also include stops at Houston Dynamo (Aug. 20) and Chivas USA (Aug. 27).
This week will also see Real Salt Lake's return to MLS Reserve League action, as RSL (1-3-0, 3 pts.) will head to Texas to face off against FC Dallas (3-1-0, 9 pts.) in a make-up game from their postponed fixture on May 22. The two sides will square off this Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 8:00 a.m. MT at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.
