SANDY, Utah (Thursday, May 15, 2014) - Real Salt Lake has announced that RSL-Arizona Academy MF Corey Baird has been named to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team roster for a domestic training camp at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C. from May 17-25.
The U.S. will play three friendlies while in the nine-day camp, facing off against NASL side Carolina RailHawks on May 20, the RailHawks U-23s on May 22 and USL Pro side Wilmington Hammerheads on May 24. The training camp will be led by U-20 Assistant Coach Brian Bliss while Tab Ramos is with the U.S. Men's National Team at the World Cup preparation camp in Palo Alto, California.
Baird has helped guide the RSL-Arizona U-18 Academy team to the top of the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy U-18 Western Conference standings with an 18-3-4 record, qualifying the side for the Academy playoffs.
